Introduction
The main application of the ADR series pipeline robot is interior fine visual inspection of industrial containers and pipelines, it is also referred to as closed circuit television inspection “CCTV inspection”.
The ADR series pipeline robot consists of a crawler, a camera, a cable reel and a controller unit. The crawler can be used with different cameras (such as rotational, direct or fisheye)for different functions, it is connected to the controller via cable reel and operated by controller instructions to perform forward, backward, turns, stop and speed adjustment; camera mount rising, lowering, lighting adjustment; camera rotation horizontally and vertically, focusing, zooming and switches between front view and rear view. The main controller can display at real time and record video captured by the camera as well as display status information of the crawler(such as pressure, incline angle, distance traveled, date and time). Reference information can be entered from keyboard. The videos can be transmitted to other monitors within 200m via internal wireless module(optional)for remote monitoring.
The ADR series pipeline robot can be used for discharge pipeline or pipeline network fast acceptance inspection, survey and evaluation, and results analysis combined with the “PipeSight Video Analysis and Report” software. A technical report of inspection and associated electronic map will be generated. Combined with “PipeInclination Analysis” software, the incline(pitch) trend of the inspected pipeline can be plotted at real time. With fisheye lens and “PipePano Analysis” software, a pipeline inner panorama can be generated for more detailed and quantitative(measurement of pipe diameter and crack width) analysis.
