Photo Emulsion for Rotary screens Medium viscosity Excellent adhesion to screen Designed for most mesh count.
Photo Emulsion for Rotary screens - 9806
APPLICATIONSRotary screen printing in textile industry
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS*Dichromate-sensitized photo emulsion for laser,wax,ink-jet or conventional photo engraving*Excellent adhesion to nickel rotary screens*Very high mechanical and chemical resistance * Medium viscosity , for 40~125 meshes(9806 is equal to STORK SCR110)(9806 A is equal to STORK SCR100)*Optimum resolution for fine lines and half-tones
DIRECTIONS FOR USEHandle under yellow safelight or low wattage tungsten lights. Avoid exposure to daylight, quartz / halogen lamps, cool white fluorescent lamps or discharge lamps.Sensitizing and MixingMixing is dependent upon the coating method used.*For top to bottom coating, mix 1000 grams of emulsions,40~50grams of sensitizer and 50~200 grams of demineralized water. For best results, use within 1~2 hours from mixing.
Screen preparation and DegreasingThoroughly degrease the rotary screen prior to use with Degreasing & Cleaning Liquor. Dry the rotary screen and store in a dust free, dry environment prior to coating.CoatingUse with rotary screen coating equipment. For top to bottom method, using a single squeegee machine, we recommend a coating speed of 10~12cm/min to obtain a uniform deposit of emulsion on the screen from the top to the bottom. Apply only one coat. For bottom to top method by hand or machine, apply one coat and dry at 104°F(40°C). If you require a thicker stencil, apply to more coats and dry at 104F(40°C).Drying and StorageThoroughly dry the coated screen at a temperature of 104°F(40°C) in a well ventilated oven.Engraving For laser engraving, we recommend to expose the rotary screen to an UV lamp source before polymerization. Polymerize the screen and laser engraves it. When different coating methods are used, you must adjust exposure times depending on the emulsion thickness. Reference time: 5~8 times on a scanning machine or 1~3 minutes on a stationary exposure machine.DevelopingSoak the engraved screen in a tank of water for 2 to 5 minutes or use an automatic washing machine. In either case, ensure a thorough final rinse.ReclaimingBefore polymerization, you may remove emulsions using Stripper liquid.RetouchingInspect the dried screen on an examination shelf. It is necessary to retouch the stencil with Retouching Lacquer for rotary screen if there are pinholes, pattern leakage or screens stoppers.PolymerizingPlace the screen in oven at 356°F(180°C) for one hour, when the temperature is reached.
