Mechanical Features
Frame: made by steel plate. All industrial standard generators is IP21(NEMA1), also IP 23 is an option,but rated power will decrease 5%
Shaft and key: All generator rotors are dynamically balanced to better than BS6861:Part1 Grade2.5 for minimum vibration in operation. Two bearing generators are balanced with a half key.
Terminals and terminal box: Standard generators are 3-phase reconnect able with 12 ends brought out to the terminals, which are mounted on a cover at the non-drive end of the generator. A sheet steel terminal box contains the AVR and provides ample space for the customers' wiring and gland arrangements. It has removable panels for easy access.
Engine adaptor and coupling: All generators have two kinds construction. The single-bearing generators engine adaptor to SAE0,1,2,3,4 and 5, the coupling discs to SAE7.5,8,10,11.5,14 and 18 are available.
The double-bearing generators adaptor to SAE0,1,2,3,4, and 5 are available.
