Low Voltage Reactive Power Focus Compensator
Application
It applicable for three phase current 380V reactive power focus compensation of electrical power system, to increase of power factor, adjust network pressure, reduce loss of distribution system and transformer, save energy, improve the quality of power supply for power grid.
Working Principle
Inductive load, always have certain resistance (such as motor coil of DC resistance, etc), and therefore equivalent to inductance L and resistance R series circuit. The capacitor is in parallel on inductive load L, can compensate reactive power, improve power factor. It is focus installed in the enterprise or on local general stepdown substation of low-pressure bus-bar, to raise power factor of the whole substation, making balanced for the substation within the scope of the reactive power. In this way not only it can reduce line of reactive power loss, but improve the quality of power supply voltage for substation. In the general the way of stepdown substation reactive-power focus compensation, called reactive power focus compensation.
