1.The rotating heat exchanger has 2 typies: total heat recovery and sensible heat recovery.
2.Rotator is a heat-storing core body. Exhaust air enters one side of the rotating Heat Wheel, chilling the wheel and drying the desiccant coating.
3.This cool and dry part of the wheel then rotates into the supply air where it absorbs heat and humidity from the incoming fresh air before the air is mechanically cooled to room temperature.
4.In winter, heat-storing core body absorb the heat (humidity) from the exhaust air, a first fluid which is relatively hot and gives up its heat to heat exchange media contained within those spaces, and a second path for a relatively cool fluid which passes through a different sector of the rotor to recover heat from the heat exchange media in that particular part of the heat exchanger rotor. As the rotor rotates the heated heat exchange media from the first sector passes from the first path to the second path to give up its heat to the relatively cool fluid. The rotator turn around. So the energy is recoveried recycly. the working Principle, see fig.
5.In summer, the air treatment is opposite to process in winter.

1.The standard rotator heat recovery exchanger has double cleaning fans, see fig. The smooth channels formed by this construction ensure that the air flow is laminar, thereby ensuring that the pressure drop is low and minimizing the risk of fouling by dirt or dust. Dry particles up to 900 microns shall pass freely through the rotor without clogging the media.
2.The rotor media can be cleaned with low temperature steam without degrading unit performance. An adjustable purging sector is provided to ensure continuous cleaning of the rotor and to virtually eliminate cross-contamination between the exhaust air and the supply air.
