Workng princilples
Column mill works in medium-speed & medium-presssure woth continuous repeated material bed pressurized grinding. The reducer fixed on uper part of the machine will dirce the spindle to ratate, then the spindle druve several roller into revolution and rotation operation inside the amular concial linear(clearance between the roller and the linear is adjustable and keep theses teo items from touching). Material is fed from the top, and them forms a material layer between the roller and the annular concial linear by effect of dead weight and uper pesher, then turns to be powder dur to repeated rolling by the roller, after that, it is discharged from the bottom discharge opening, from which point iy is put into grading equipment for grading, in which the fine poeder is separated to finished product group while coarse powder is returned to the column mill for re-grinding. In this process, wear and energy consumption arising from collisions of grinding media is avoided since the roller only make revolution and rotation action and the force applied on the material layer in mainlu from the pressure from the elastic pressure devices and the pressing force between material itself.
Column mill’s performance and results
1. large size reduction ratio, high production efficiency, low energy consumption, only 2-4kw/h per ton of matrrial;
2. coarse tailing discharging pre-concentration and significant reduction in feed ball mill can substantially increase the production capacity of the concentrator;
3. the crushed ore monomer dissociation have a good effect, can increase the concentrate grade 2 to 10%, improve metal recovery 5 to 15%, can significantly increase the grinding fineness.
