GZS type quartz glass tubular level gauge
(One) GZS type quartz glass tubular level gauge is of field indicating instrument.
The features of mechanics, mechanical, electric and optics of quartz glass tube are superior to nominal glass tube. Furthermore, it is superior to nominal glass tube liquid level gauge because of the action of refraction and reflection, it has bicolor characteristic. And therefore it can be applied to measure fluid level of various kinds of industrial equipments such as pot, tower, tank and box. And particularly apply to measure the high temperature, high temperature difference, high pressure and acid fluid level. And because of the double color indicating action, it can specially affect the high temperature, normal temperature boiler liquid level double color indicating directly.
Our quartz glass tube liquid level gauges all adopt SiO2 quartz glass, purity is 99.99%, transform temperature is 1075, compression resisting is 1000MPa(10,000kgf/cm2), factor of expansion is 5.5×10-7. And quartz glass tube, according to the standard of JC225-81, after special dealing, make to transparent quartz glass tube as the meter measuring body. And after the delicate design of meter structure, the gauge has the characteristics of clear display, high ability of resist compression, convenience to install, protect and maintain.quartz glass tubular level gauge is a upgraded products of common glass tubular gauge.
(Two) GZS type bi-color quartz glass tubular level gauge
1. function and work principle
quartz glass tubular level gauge is widely used in petroleum,chemical, industries, electricity, metallurgy, papermaking etc.to measure transparent liquid level in tank and boiler.
GZS type bi-color quartz glass tubular level gauge. Acording to standard GB 9658-88 and HG/T2483-93 by well-designed and take full advantage of optics principle. The color in gauge tube is green for liquid and red for non liquid.and the color changes according to liquid level continously and automatically, and brings much convenience to read and record the level digit.

(Three) install,service and maintainess
1. install
(1)when the products leave the factory,every part of the gauge pressure had been tested of 1.5 times of the matked pressure.As to prevent damage please dont remove quartz glass tube.
(2)Bi-color quortz glass tubular level gauge is of precision meter, so please be carefully when transport,carry ,open case and install the meter,and also to avoid the quartz glass tubular,red and green glass damaged.
2. application
(1) when the level gauge has been installed to the container, open the upper and lower valve slowly,and the liquid flow in the tube and wash the wall.If the liquid is high temperature, the quartz glass tube must be warm-up for half an hour to prevent it bursting.
(2) When view the level, you must stand in front of the level gauge.and then the level you see is the actual level.
(3) When liquid flow in the container or the the pressure rising in it,the bi-color may be not quite clear,this phenomenon is temporary which is because of the unclear liquid or unstable pressure.So the liquid level will be indicate clearly when the pressure is stable.
3. maintenance
(1)if the colorful level gauge is used to measure the level in boiler or other dirty fluid level, the gauge should be wash and clean.
Cleaning method:
close the upper and lower valves;
open sewer valve, when drained out the liquid in the gauge close valve;
crack the lower valve and the liquid flow into the gauge and then close the valve.
First open the stop valve and then open the draining valves, clean it repeatly.
(2)If the meter is used for a period and the red and green color not quite clean or exist dirt in it obviously, close the upper and lower stop valves and open draining valves drain out the dirty liquid .Open vent valves and tie cotton lumps to a iron wire and the iron wire penetrade in from vent valves and out from drain valves,repeat the action for some times. And also clean it with cleaning agent or acid agent.
(3)If the quartz glass tubular damaged or scaling seriously and must remove the quartz glass tubular, firstly remove the meter body, unscrew the screw nut and rap out graphite rings by a wooden pole and load the ring to a new tube. Bed a packing ring to the qoartz tube and insert into the meter body space evently. Buck-up the screw nut of the two ends, then the operation is finished.
4. Trouble shooting
(1)the upper and lower ends leak liquid:close upper and lower stop valves and open screw down the nut and bolt,stuffing and press it again.
(2)Liquid indicating is total red or total green, check out whether the outlet of the upper and lower valves container be blocked.
(3)The liquid is still and no flow, please check out whether is the upper and lower stop valves open and whether the transfer pipe is blocked by scale deposition.
