Application: The ASH handling solution- pneumatic ash transporter is a main equipment of pneumatic ash conveying system of power plant. The compressed air will be used as transportation medium and power. It is a volume type pressure transportation device, and could be operated alternately by means of its sealing ability.
When the ash enters into the vessel, it will be closed and then the compressed air enters into the vessel to mix with the ash and then conveying to an appointed place.
The pneumatic ash transporter is suitable for long distance conveying. Its max. conveying concentration will be about 30~50kg ash/kg air. It could be used for both density phase conveying (mass concentration 30kg ash/kg air) and thinner phase conveying (mass concentration ≤30kg ash/kg air). It has the advanges of simple structure, easier arrangement and less maintenance.
Based on the ash discharge measures, it could be divided into upper outlet type (ash outlet is located at the top of vessel), lower outlet type (ash outlet is located at the bottom of vessel) and fluidized type. Based on the arrangement, it could be divided into single pump and double pumps (it can be operated alternately). The conveying pressure of pneumatic ash conveying system will be about 0.4~0.7MPa(g), the operation pressure in the vessel will be in the range of 0~0.4MPa(g) depended on the conveying time.
