| Mica Tape for VPI |
This mica tape is built up with mica paper as base material and epoxy adhesion as binder to bind on the one of its surface with alkalifree glass cloth as its reinforcing material. It is perfectly flexible under the normal temperature and can be processed by vacuum presure impregnating technology (VPI) together with impregnate resin compatible with the mica and thus be solidified into mica tape after that. Owing to the high mica content and excellent electrical function, it is noted as the ideal insulation material for the large and medium size high tension electrical machinery processing with VPI technology. |

The tape adhesion must be distributed homogeneously without bubble, pore, adhesion, lami-nation, foreigh matter, crack of mica paper, reeling out of glass cloth, loosening of tape coiling, etc. |

Mica tape length is shown by its coiling diameter. Diameter of tape coiling is 95mm±5mm or 115mm±5mm. In it the tying should not more than 1 piece and the shortest length must be no less than 5m. The mica paper coiling with tying must be noted with the respect symbol. |
