At the zinc furnace long side will be installed a white fumes collecting and exhausting slot hood. The part is the piping, ducting and ventilator to exhaust the fumes.
The dust inclusions in the exhausted stream are filtered by a polypropylene vertical bags filter to be installed. The bags will have to be set vertically to allow a very simple and easy way to inspect and substitute them.
The bags cleaning air of the filter, coming from a purposely installed ventilator, would be electrically heated above the duepoint temperature to preserve the bags from clogging, which is the most important problem that has to be prevented in these type of installations.
In order to avoid any humidity condensation that could clog the bags, it is very recommended that the white fumes filtering bag house will be installed in a closed room.
The filtered dust will be continuously collected into a drum, to be disposed as per local regulations.
After being filtered, the clean air, is simply sent into the atmosphere through a vertical chimney. The exhausting ventilator is equipped with a speed controlling unit which adjust the volume to be exhausted with the real situation of the working cycle.
