This section takes care of the fresh acid and spent liquors storage and of all distributing and inter-connecting lines among these components and the process equipment.
The fresh acid storage volumes have been sized according to the maximum volume of the shipping trucks while the storage volume of the spent acid has been sized just to face the process vol-umes.
Simply the appropriate valves and the installed pumps, this plant will be used for:
1. Transferring fresh acid from the supplying truck to the storage container;
2. Transferring fresh acid from the storage container to the pickling tanks;
3. Transferring spent acid from the pickling tank to the storage container;
4. Transferring spent acid from the storage container to the acid treatment unit;
5. Transferring well drippings to the storage containers;
6. Transferring spent scrubbing water to the pickling tanks.
