 1General Desc ription
   The extrusion and tearing press(pulp machine) is the key equipment in the APMP process. It deflakes the chips through extrusion action, making the chips suitable for chemical impregnation and pulping reaction. 
    2Structure Feature
   The principle machine of the extrusion and tearing press consists of circular cylinder and change diameter screw. The cylinder possesses double-screen structure. The inside thin screen filters water. The outside thick screen has two functions: filtering water and reinforcing the structure. The outer diameter of the screw is invariant and the inner diameter increases gradually. The shaft of the screw is cantilever-shaped. The cylinder and screw form a continuous close compressing room. 
   3Working principles:
   After steaming, the softened chips enter the extrusion and tearing press. As the chips are driven forth by the diameter change screw, the space becomes smaller and smaller and the chips are extruded, so that the original structure of the chip is damaged. The chips with regular and loose structure are crushed and kneaded, becoming compressed filiform lumps, which are easy to absorb chemicals in impregnation stage and suitable for the pulping reaction. At the discharge gate, chemical liquor is sprayed from the chemical-adding ring into the material, and the material is pushed into the imopregnator by the screw blade and the following material, to be fully impregnated with the chemical liquor.
