IXPE i.e. electronic radiation cross-linked polyethylene is firstly mixed extruding mold which is based on polyethylene as the main raw material, accompanied by several other raw materials without containing any harmful substances accessories. Then by environment-friendly irradiation processing technology and by ionizing radiation for substance which is caused crosslinking to change the original structure of the base material, it comes out a mesh-independent closed-cell foam structure. It is high-tech foam material. It has many advantages such as glossy appearance, comfortable touch-feeling, easy to process. Its cells are fine uniform, strong and resilient. It has excellent thermal and sound insulation performance. Its low water absorption, weathering resistance, aging resistance, mildew and resistance to various chemicals corrosive makes it as very nice functional materials in compliance with international environmental standards. IXPE Features:Environmental non-toxic: Ionizing radiation changes the base material’s structure and it forms mesh-independent closed-cell structure. No additive, no warming, no chemical residue, recovery for oil refining. Moisture antibacterial: Independent closed-cell structure effectively prevents the penetration of water molecules. Its water absorption rate is less than 0.01g/cm2 which is almost zero. At the same time, it is bacteria-free survival environment due to the irradiation of the electron beam modification. Mute shock resistance: Due to its independent closed-cell structure, it has a good sound-damping, resilient, impact resistance and its permanent compression ratio is less than 5%. Thermal insulation: Its thermal conductivity is less than 0.04w/m.k. It effectively impedes heat or cool air loss. Anti-corrosion and anti-aging: The base material polyethylene itself is tight structure. It has better corrosion resistance performance after irradiation crosslinking treatment. So its lifecycle is increased above 30%. Easy processing: Glossy appearance, comfortable touch-feeling, fine uniform cells, strong and resilient makes it easy to do secondary processing such as compounding, sticking, cutting, punching, heat pressing, heat absorbing molding. XPE bridging foam i.e. cross-linked polyethylene is made by chemical cross-linked foaming way. It has high foamin grate, low density, small thickness, smooth surface, high elasticity, high tenacity. It is a kind of advanced environment-friendly materials which is easy to do secondary processing. XPE foam is non-toxic, non-smell. Its thermal and sound insulation, easy molding, cushioning, water-absorption and non-pollution for atmosphere when burning make it as pollution-free products by many advanced countries.
