1. Strong electrolyte 2.have elasticity, even foaming effect, soft handfeel 3. Applied to pigment printing.
Printing Emulsifier (EM-GL)
1.)General Description EM-GL emulsifier is used to make water-in-oil type of paste.
It is nonionic emulsifier and play high impact on printing coloration and viscosity.
2. )Technique Data
Appearance Composition Solid content PH value
white or yellowish fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylene ether 40±2% 6.7-7
viscous liquid
3.) Property and Features
1. Strong electrolyte. Has little impact on the viscosity of paste when adding ammonia sulfate, urea, sodium carbonate or reserve salt.
2. During making paste, the proportion of ink and water can be at any rate in the range 20%-80%. Add some thickener to get higher viscosity when dosage of kerosene is less.
3. The mixture of prepared paste, sodium alginate and modified starch can be applied to reactive dyes printing. That can improve color yield and reduce dosage of dyestuffs.
4. Applied to coating pigment printing. It can enhance printing result in color brightening and hand feelings. To white textile printing, use pigment 8501 and 8401, and it can avoid color paste to get gelled.
4). Usage
Measure certain amount of water and emulsifier and put them into container. Stir mixture with high-speed disperse mill. Slowly add kerosene during stirring. Do it for about 10 minutes.
5) Safety Notice
1. Because of its consistency, please add water firstly and then emulsifier, in case emulsifier is stick to the bottom of barrel and can’t be fully used.
2. When emulsifier sticks to hands or tools, clean it with dry cloth or paper.
3. Please close the barrel after usage, in case emulsifier is polluted by bacteria and lose capacity.
Notes: Above usages have been proved through practice. But considering practical printing techniques, please choose the right manufacturing process after experiment.
