Tundish slag dam adopts high quality fused magnesia, bauxite chamotte, white corundum, etc as the main raw materials, combined with small powder and superfine powder, adding an appropriate amount of coagulant and dispersant, precast molding, made of medium temperature baking process. It can be applied to continuous casting tundish. And slag dam with different service life and materials are designed according to users’ different smelting requirements.
Tundish slag dam is of good erosion resistance, molten steel scouring resistance, and high strength in high temperature. It can effectively block steel slag to flow to injection flow area, protecting the stopper from the molten steel impact. It is used to change the molten steel flow field, eliminate turbulence, eddy current and the bottom of stratosphere to purify the molten steel.
