Carbon Fiber Yarn

The carbon fiber yarn is made of the raw material of PAN(Polyacrylonitrile)-based carbon fiber woven by a special technical process. It has characteristics of high strength, non-melting under high temperature, excellent thermal stability, light weight, good corrosion resistance.  It's the requisite material for banding and sewing the carbon felt which is used as the vacuum furnace insulation layer. The carbon fiber rope can also be used as the heating cable due to its good electrical conductivity.

Carbon fiber first began serving a growing range of applications in industries such as aerospace and sports. In recent years, it’s being used in new applications in the general industrial sector like automobile chassis, industrial robot components, civil engineering (concrete reinforcement) and undersea oil pipelines. Electromagnetic shielding applications make possible by its electrical conductivity have led to its adoption in electronics, such as in notebook PC cases. Carbon fiber can be combined with a diverse range of other materials, gaining exciting new characteristics that are expected to open up a whole new dimension of applications in space development, next-generation energy and beyond.

The carbon fiber is manufactured by PAN (polyacrylonitrile)-based raw material, it offers lightness and strength significantly superior to conventional materials, combined with excellent processability and electrical conductivity.

(2) Thermal properties: Low coefficient of thermal expansion and outstanding dimensional stability. Minimal deterioration inn mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, and low thermal conductivity at ultra-low temperatures.

(3)Electrical and electromagnetic properties: Electrical conductivity provides electromagnetic shielding effect, with excellent transparency to X-ray.

(4)Chemical properties: Excellent chemical stability, with outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis and various solvents
