The PIR detector triggers the alarm by receiving infrared radiation emitted by human body. The detector mainly consists of an optical system, heat sensor (or infrared sensors), communication modules and etc. The detector itself does not emit any energy but passively receives and detects infrared radiation from the environment. Once any infrared radiation from human body comes in, the pyro electric device produces a mutant electrical signal after the infrared radiation is focused by the optical system. After the processed signal is sent to the IHD, the IHD makes a judgment according to the actual condition.
